HAPPY 36th ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD!!
Today is my (first) last day here in Brussels. This afternoon I'm off to Italy, Slovenia, and Switzerland for the next month. I'll be back through here a few more times though, as I leave for Senegal from Brussels, and will be back through when I head down to Lisbon in June for my last month in Europe...
Anyway, Marcelle has been a most gracious host, introducing me to her many nice and interesting friends, family, and colleagues as well as helping me learn a little more about the Belgian culture, history, and a plethora of architectural information!!! My time in Belgium would not be the same without your kindness ;)
My plane leaves for Venice in a few hours, so no photos today; but stay tuned for pics from the Italian Carnaval and the Italian and Slovenian Alps! :)

Livin the dream, sounds like you are having a blast. I am envious. A little different than our trip accross Europe back in 96. While I sit reserve here in Memphis I would much rather be heading to Italy. Just talked to Shep we send you our best wishes--good luck.
